Securing stakeholder engagement and funding for Thomas International
Thomas is a leading provider of psychometric assessments for improved recruitment and employee development. Its ambition is to be data-driven and insight-led as an organisation across product development, marketing and sales functions to drive business growth internationally.
MoJo was able to uncover an extensive but historic data landscape, lack of knowledge of what the data pot contained, multiple stakeholders with differing priorities, no common language of data, an absence of “customer” and a lack of clarity on where to start on their data journey. Using a combination of stakeholder interviews, workshops and data analysis we established a common vision, understanding and language of data. The workshop prioritised data enablers to be delivered and barriers to overcome to deliver Thomas a pragmatic, achievable data strategy roadmap.
The data strategy and roadmap enabled the project lead to take a concise, accurate data strategy to the board, with a well thought through approach to achieving the business ambition. This resulted in board approval for investment in targeted data resources with clear expectations and responsibilities, to deliver against the ambition.
